Episode 128 - Let Your Light Shine

'You are the light of the world.' This profound truth implores us to shine the light that we are courageously into the world for all to see. So many of us keep our light hidden and we need to ask ourselves why. Our light is our creativity, talent, authenticity, generosity, honesty, love, and prayers. It is also boldly speaking our truth. Our light makes each one of us uniquely who we are. When we show up as light in the world we are clear expressions of Spirit. We honor ourselves and say thank you to the Divine for our lives. In this episode, we share how we are light in the world, how we see the light in others, and what stops us from being aware that we are ‘shining like the sun.’

Episode 127 - Light Up the Darkness

Light illuminates darkness. Darkness can be ignorance, the unexplored, unseen or undiscovered. It can also be the darker elements of our society that are generally kept hidden like corruption, exploitation, and human trafficking. Many of us live completely in the dark, not inclined to change or go beyond the perception of reality we are comfortable with. When we are willing to widen our perspective, expand our field of knowledge, broaden our sources of information, consider what we haven't yet considered, explore where we have not yet been (including our own minds), and dare to learn beyond our comfort zones, we illuminate the darkness. Our highest Self will lead us. In this episode, we share about willingness or hesitancy to light up the darkness and how we can shift collective consciousness by our illumination.

Episode 126 - The Guiding Light

The Christmas season is nestled in the darkness of winter. It is no surprise that we light up our homes during this time, and that light is a prominent theme in the Christmas story. The light of Spirit is always with us, and poised to guide us. It is the light that guides our long journey to our highest self and fulfilled purpose. It can show up as inner intuition or as the guidance of another person or sign. We may not be able to see the fullness of our path or know how things will turn out, but this guiding light is like a North star that keeps us on course. The light of Spirit can also appear as a flash of insight with a commanding voice that calls us to action. In this episode we share about how these two forms of ‘guiding lights’ support us and remind us that we are never alone.

Episode 125 - Follow Your Dream

Are you going in the direction you want? As we go through life, we follow a path toward our dream/purpose with varying levels of success. Some of us never leave our starting point. Some of us complete the journey. And some of us find sufficient satisfaction in the middle of the journey and never fully complete it. This is the hero’s journey. At its ultimate level, this is a journey through the depths of our soul and back to our original Self. At the same time, we each have a personal purpose to fulfill, also a hero’s journey. During this episode we use the journey of Santiago in The Alchemist and find ourselves in it. As Paulo Coehlo says, “When you’re on a journey to pursue your personal legend, the whole universe conspires to help you achieve it.”

Episode 124 - Listen to Your Heart

Your heart feels all the feelings of life. It informs you. It expresses its hopes, desires and fears. It can be sweet and it can be volatile. It reaches out and connects to other hearts. It is your partner in pursuing your dream. It is always there for you. It is the seat of Divine Love and Wisdom. Frequently though, many of us override its message and instead follow our heads. This keeps us from pursuing our dreams. In this episode, we continue our dive into The Alchemist and share our experiences of sincerely listening to and engaging with our hearts. When we learn to do this, there our ‘treasure’ will be.

Episode 123 - Love Outrageously

Outrageous Love is unconditional Love. It has no bounds, forgives completely and is full of compassion and mercy. It is the Divine Love under all Creation that loves us! On our spiritual journey, we learn to accept this love and to love ourselves. From that place we can then love others without expectations or conditions. Embodying, embracing and accepting unconditional Love to the best of our abilities is of extreme importance in these times, as we continue to experience a very divided nation. In this episode we share where we are with loving ourselves and others unconditionally, and how we reveal love through action.
